The son of Peruvian Legacy and one of Crescent Moon's top fawn females, Romeo leaves absolutely nothing to be desired. He's a very handsome animal, from head to toe, and the judges have agreed all across the country in the most competitive shows in the land. The babies are beginning to pop up in the shows in all colors. At the AWE 2006 show, all three of Romeo's crias that were entered won ribbons-- first, fourth and sixth. Then at Great Western they took two firsts and a fourth. The first six crias have shown Romeo's potential to throw color: one white, one beige, two light fawn, one medium fawn and one dark fawn (out of a white female!). Every one of them looks to be of show quality. We couldn't be more pleased with Romeo's progeny. He has exceeded even our very high expectations. If you're looking to produce show quality colored offspring out of arguably the top line in the country, take a good hard look at Romeo. You'll be hard pressed to find a fawn male with a show record half as good as Romeo's. He's racked up 7 color championships and run the table with blue ribbons at AOBA, Futurity, IAO and AWE. Two of his sons have 10 blue ribbons and 5 championships to their credit, including a blue ribbon in the AOBA Fleece Show (see listings for Hummingherd's Firenze and Hummingherd's Alpha Romeo). Firenze has won two color championships and a Supreme Spinner's award at over five years of age! Now that his progeny are scoring big in the show ring, Romeo's value as a herdsire is firmly established. Romeo is co-owned with Crescent Moon Ranch.
