Sweet Silver Jubilee
Medium Silver Grey, 801509, Full Chilean
UPDATE: On August 17th, Jubilee produced a beautiful bay black female cria by our multiple Get-of-Sire winner, AFA Royal Peruvian Aristocrat. See Java's separate listing under Alpacas for Sale.
Jubilee is a lovely grey female with a dispositon that matches her name. She is an excellent mom, trouble free birther, and a good milk producer. Bred to black and rose grey she has had four true black crias, including: Black Diamond (blue ribbon winner-picture at right), a Peruvian Matador son (Sold); Avalon's Liberty Belle; Avalon's Jet Set (multiple blue ribbon winner, Reserve Color Champion, and Color Champion - SOLD); and now Avalon's Black Pearl (SOLD). With a silver dam and sire, it would be interesting to see if Jubilee would throw a silver grey cria bred to silver!
We rebred Jubilee to our Black Color Champion, Lace's Peruvian Black Lance. Stay tuned to see what this awesome match produces.

This outstanding son of (Accoyo) Royal Fawn (the world's highest selling alpaca at $600,000) is admired by everyone who has come to know him over the past 10 years. His macho presence, handsome head, large bone, excellent fiber coverage, and lovely fleece have been a trademark combination that is hard to beat. From his birth here at Avalon Farm, we knew he was special! In 1997, at his first show (and ours!), everyone that opened his fleece, including the judge, could only catch their breath and exclaim, "WOW!" His bright, crimpy, light fawn fleece was arranged in little locks that were unlike anything people had seen before. And, in 1999, when he won 1st as AOBA Fawn 2 Year Old Adult (no Color Championships in 1999), no one in the crowd wa

Another nice female from our silver grey foundation female, Sweet Silver Jubilee. When matched with our premier herdsire, AFA Royal Peruvian Aristocrat, the females from this line never fail to give us wonderful offspring...and Java is no exception. She is a striking, stylish girl with excellent conformation and presence.
Java's fiber is a lovely black color with nice crimp. Her 2007 fiber tested at an AFD of 20.5 microns, which is relatively fine for such a dark fleece.
We think Java will make an excellent foundation female. Her grandmother was one of our most prized foundation dams until retirement in 2009. Her mother and grandmother both have records as easy breeders and dependable dams with great milk production. Since the birth of Java's first cria, Avalon's Javelin, we have seen that these characteristics have been passed to her, as well. She delivered her first cria without problems and proved to be a dedicated mother.
Due to the economy, we held a number of our females open. We look forward to breeding her this spring.
EVERY FEMALE purchased from Avalon Farm is eligible for reduced price breedings to any solely owned AFA herdsire FOR HER BREEDING LIFE, regardless of owner.
