Serena's best features are the consistency of her fiber color, her "cute factor" and her typey head. It's no wonder her daughters have been blessed with Cover Girl looks...
Serena is a quiet, sweet dam, easy to handle and a joy to be around.
Serenas sire is the impressive Sayvon of Bolivia a dark brown, very compact mahogany macho and consistent producer of dark colored offspring!
Serenas dam Dot Com is also a full Bolivian possessing incredible density to her fleece. Serenas family tree is all about COVERAGE and DENSITY!
Serena has had three crias now to date...Her 1st daughter is a very pretty girl by the befitting name of STARLET (see "Autumn Starlet"), who carries her mother's beautiful head and top-knot, and great density in a solid true hot maroon color. SERENA DELIVERED HER '07 BABY WITHOUT A HITCH, 3/24/07 and JUST SOLD & at under 7 weeks of age! CONGRATULATIONS to Jeanne Griffin of Picasso Farms in Illinois!

HRAZ Drambuie's Dark Knight
Bay Black, 800043, 1/2 Peruvian
Drambuie's Dark Knight is a rare, dark son of the legendary Peruvian Drambuie. There are only 2 dark male offspring sired by Drambuie in the United States. Drambuie was THE foundation herdsire for Snowmass Alpacas interestingly, he is also the sire of Snowmass Nova's dam.
Dark Knight is a Color Champion & has proven his excellence with Blue Ribbons.
Dark Knight has an exceptionally soft hand & luster to his fleece, even at 9 years of age. The scarcity of guard hair is amazing! A micron count of 25.6 in '04 at age 7, despite his experience as a breeding male, is quite impressive. His CV's ranging from 19.5 to 21.8 indicate great uniformity. He has EXCELLENT fiber, coverage and conformation.
Dark Knight has sired multiple Color Champions & Blue Ribbon winning offspring, all in Level III to Level V AOBA sanctioned shows.
Starlight has a very robust, yet feminine built. Her legs are straight and compliment her very square and correct frame. Her fleece is fine, with marvelous staple length and density. She has wonderful crimp and sheen. She is the complete package. I can't say enough great things about this pretty lady. Take a look at her lineage! Drambuie's Dark Knight is her sire, and Drambuie is her grand sire. Drambuie came from the Rural Allianza farm in Peru. He was first owned by Snowmass Alpacas, and then sold to Pucara Farms in Australia in 1997, where his offspring continuously take show circuit championshipships.
Starlight's breeding to Amadeo was a success, she gave birth to a beautiful, healthy fawn male on 11/13/09. Take a look at Illuminati's sold listing. She was a great first time mom with plenty of milk. And actually, the farm that purchased Amadeo has also purchased her son Illuminate, to carry on these fine genetics.
Starlight's 2010 breeding to 6x Color Champion Sauk Creek's Sebastian was absorbed. She was again exposed in 2011, and just gave birth to a beautiful healthy male cria. Tristian will be a future hersdsire. We liked this pairing so much that we've rebred Starlight again to Sebastian for a 2013 fall cria. Her price will increase as her due date gets closer.
