| | | Patina is a proven female who has had 6 crias from 4 different sires, and all have been vigorously healthy, with beautiful heads and rich bright fleece. Her first daughter won the blue in her class at the AOBA National in 2003. Her 2003 son is a stunning maroon with several ribbons. In November 2004 she gave birth to a gorgeous light fawn son with herdsire written all over him. See our listing for Edson Tiger. In spring of 2006 she gave us an outstanding medium brown female, Carrey Special, and 2007 brought perhaps her best yet, Chicabou.
Patina has a beautiful uniform light fawn fleece with nice fine crimp and a wonderful handle.

| | | This guy has a lineage that can't be beat. His father was Get of Sire at AOBA in 1998, and his maternal grandfather was one of the most sought after Peruvian imports who sold for $105,000 back in 1994 and now lives in Australia. That bloodline is extremely limited here in the states.
"Buddy" is so dense and his coverage is so complete that he looks like a polar bear. He has a uniform crimp and very nice handle to his fleece. His great conformation and personality make him a herdsire with everything. When it comes to herdsires, we believe that "the proof is in the progeny". His first 17 crias are on the ground, 9 females and 8 males, and they are gorgeous colors, including black, with lots of crimpy fleece, perfect conformation and beautiful typey heads. He has more on the way and we can't wait. We have learned that Buddy is what is known as a "diluter"; although he's white he usually throws color when bred to color.

Chicabou is a proven female with a great deal of curb appeal!
She is one of our Elever's Balle offspring and she inherited his typey look, along with color from her mom. Her fleece is fine, dense and crimpy to the extreme. Her 2010 fiber stats, at age three, are AFD 22--SD--4.0--CV 18.1 with a comfort factor of 97.5%, and she has large bone and perfect conformation. "Chicky" is very athletic and graceful, too. All in all she's just beautiful.
At her first show she was highly complimented by the judge, Charlene Friedman, for her headset, her bright crimpy fleece, and her outstanding conformation. This was a fiercely competitive juvenile class and we were very proud of her third place ribbon.
Then at the 2008 MAAS in Topeka, Chicabou won first in her large beige class at halter, and second in a class of 9 in fleece! It is with some hesitation that we offer this girl for sale. We consider her to be an outstanding example of the quality of her sire and her dam.
Chicabou had our first AuSable offspring this fall, and it was another easy birth, resulting in a striking bay black replica of his father. As you can see in the photo, he and his mom make a head turning pair!
You can take home Chicabou with a breeding to your choice of any of our Honey Creek herdsires. I suggest going with Sable again.
