With BLACK on both sides of her pedigree; King Kong as sire, and a true black grandsire and granddam and the late Pperuvian Angel (her great-grandfather) on her dam's side, we expect Allegra to produce years of lovely, phenotypical, colored suris!
At her first show at the '06 Pacific Northwest Show in Couer d'Lane, Amanda Vandenbosch gave her a Blue Ribbon for her beautiful luster, consistency and independence of lock. She once again proved herself when she recently took another 1st Place at the AlpacaFest West '06 Fleece Show in California.
Allegra gave birth in April 2007 to a truly gorgeous, BAY BLACK, lustrous, locked boy from "Mac's Legend", full brother to Captain Morgan! We are extremely excited about this boy, "Legend's Dark Knight" and are anticipating seeing him become a much sought after herdsire.
Dark Knight just took Reserve Champion at the Mid-America Alpaca Show in Topeka KS on Oct 27th with judge's comments being "blinding luster, dense, co

Macs Legend says it all. Suri Havens champion dark maroon herdsire has a strong conformation, a cool handle and lustrous silky pencil locks from head to toe. This incredible young herdsire is almost an exact replica of his full brother Captain Morgan. Even down to his beautiful face and personality. Legends fleece has an excellent micron count for a suri at 18.0 with a 99.6% comfort factor. Just one more reason the judges awarded him Color Champion and 1st Place at the 2004 Monterey show and Reserve Color Champion and 1st Place at the 2004 Alpaca Western Extravaganza in Oregon.
His sire is the legendary Peruvian Macgyver. A stunning full Peruvian mahogany suri herdsire of the Accoyo Bruxo line, producing champion after champion. In 2005 Macgyver won Herdsire of the Year at the Futurity for an unprecedented third straight year. While Legends older brother Captain Morgan (3 years older) won Reserve Herdsire of the Year.

"Blinding luster, dense fleece with independent lock and consistency throughout his blanket, perfectly proportioned, a real showman, excited about life"; these are some of the comments made by the judge at the Mid-America Show in Topeka, KS, giving Dark Knight a Reserve Color Championship in his very first show at just over 6 months! Youngest in his class, the judge noted that that was the only reason he wasn't placed higher!
He has now thrown 2 blacks and 3 dark brown offspring; all as dark or darker than the dam.
Dark Knight has been a real confirmation of our decision to breed our female Allegra, who has black on both her dam and sire's side, with Mac's Legend full brother to Captain Morgan. His dam, Allegra is out of a black dam and sire and is grand-daughter of the late PPeruvian Angel. Her sire is the well known true black King Kong.
From the day he was born, Dark Knight has stood proud and tall. He exhibits amazing coverage and density, bay black curly, greasy locks, loaded with luster. . .
We would like to sell 1/2 interest in Dark Knight, but want him to be part of our breeding program in the future, as we expect his offspring to have "Champion" written all over them too.
Dark Knight took a 2nd place as the youngest in a yearling class at GWAS '08 in Denver under Jude Anderson who noted that he was placed 2nd as he was the youngest in the class and still growing.
In the spring of '09 he took a first place at MOPACA and is now in California standing stud!
