This boy has pedigree to burn. Concerto is full Peruvian and 100% Snowmass genetics. His sire is Snowmass Odyssey, who sold for $150,000 at the Snowmass auction two years ago. His grandsires are Legacy and Northamerican Dreambuie, and his great-grandsires are Drambuie, Caligula, Hemingway and the unknown sire of Legacy. That's tantamount to the World Alpaca Herdsire Hall of Fame. The dam's side is just as strong, with granddams Peruvian Lace (with one of the finest production records of any alpaca female) and P. Melody, daughter of Duet, after whom the famous "Song Line" was named. Throw in great-granddam Jesusa and you have one of the strongest pedigrees ever. Concerto shows the lasting superfineness you would expect from this lineage, with a first-year micron count of 14.1 and third year of 18.9. Concerto is maturing nicely now, and has begun his breeding career. You couldn't touch this boy at this price at the Snowmass auction.
