| | | Macho Negro, "Macho", came to us from Chile though he clearly shows the lock pattern of Bolivia, courtesy of his sire's herd. His fiber is lustrous and has a silky, smooth hand. He frequently passes this fiber type on to his cria, so that our breeding clients often come back again and again to use Macho on their females, as his "last year's" crias sell so fast! Macho has a proud head with fat cork-screw locks in his topknot. His leg fiber mimics the same lock pattern. His crimp pattern is fine, high frequency, and consistent throughout his blanket. He is average size with good bone and muscle, and a calm temperament (for an import).
Most of Macho's sons have gone | |

This guy is our #1 herd protector! If you are looking for a male to protect smaller animals or young alpacas...this is your guy. He is an easy going, healthy fiber male. He is the first to greet all visitors with a sniff to the forehead. He was gelded due to a genetic ear deformity that was overlooked when we purchased him.. We also use him as our spit tester and weanling babysitter. He is very easy to handle and easy to lead. He has good staple length and his fiber is as black as midnight.
