True Black, 832793, Peruvian & Chilean
|
|
| | | Jingle Belle is a non-fading True Black female sired by Peruvian Black Mesquite. Black Mesquite is a phenomenal true black male sired by Peruvian Matador who has produced numerous multi-Champions including this year's AOBA National Champion Black Male Eternal Flame. On her dam's side is Arcuta's Jackpot, another great true black herdsire. Her pedigree exemplifies consistent high-end true black huacayas.
Jingle Belle has strong conformation and a remarkable fleece for a black momma. When she was the right age to show I was having (human) twins so she never made it to the ring, but I believe she would have been very competitive. Her fleece is dense and has a very well-defined crimp without sacrificing fineness. Handspinners looking for black have always chosen her fleece first.
"Belle", as we call her, is a proven female, having produced one cria in 2004. Fairhope's Rhett Butler, sired by Ameripaca's Nemo. We liked Rhett so much that we bred her back to Nemo for a 200 | |

| | | Nemo has a very extensive grey background. All four of his grandparents were grey! He has good bone, nice coverage, great conformation, and a proud carriage. His gorgeous bluish grey fleece is very dense and fine with a nice staple length. We did not have Nemo's fleece tested until he was four years old, but his histogram reflects great uniformity in the fineness of his fleece. Just what fiber processors are looking for. Handspinners love it! Nemo has produced 3 true blacks from black dams, 3 greys from black dams, 3 greys from grey dams, and one true black from a fawn dam. All are very striking with very fine fleece! His son, Rhett Butler's avg. micron count is 20.7. This is consistent with the fineness of all of the cria Nemo is producing. To see more of his cria see his herdsire listing on our alpacanation page. His latest is Giacamo, a flashy true black who can be seen on our cria page of our website www.fairhopealpacas.com
