Davina, my first foundation female, just gave birth to her FIFTH female out of five cria. Her dam's sire, Acero Marka's Wooly Bully is KNOWN for producing females and dear 'Vina has definitely taken after him! PLUS, she is an incredible milk producer and protective and loving mom. Davina gave birth 5/28/07 to this LWA/line Fallstaff daughter, the product of another "match made in alpaca heaven". Davina produces babies who are conformationally correct, always an improvement over herself, and so far has gifted her offspring with her awesome mothering/milking/protective instincts.
Meet NWA/LINE FALLSTAFF, full Peruvian son of the remarkable Accoyo Felix! Fallstaff sports a luscious super dense, apricot vicuna patterned fleece on his compact well-conformed body. He has lovely grey facial markings and the handsome Accoyo head of his sire. Fallstaff is a outstanding producer of dense fiber with high frequency crimp and a very soft hand. His 2002 annualized staple length measured 5.5 inches with a fleece weight of 7.8 pounds. Fallstaff's crias are averaging 20 microns at one year of age and he has improved the fleece in character and micron over the dam's in every offspring. Fallstaff maintains a 24.0 micron and continues to win blue ribbons into his 5th year. His most recent awards were a Reserve Championship in the 2005 Great Western Alpaca Fleece Show at age 5 and a 2nd place at GWAS 2006 at age 6. *Special Pricing* $200 off Mobile Mating/$300 off Drive By Mating within 1 hour of our farm.

This is one impressive & delightful young lady, & what gorgeous fiber she has! Sierra is the FIFTH daughter of my first foundation female, Lanark's Davina. Sierra is a sweet girl with solid conformation & bite, heavy, strong bone & SOFT, silky fiber with wonderful brightness, an impressive staple & gorgeous high frequency medium amplitude crimp. Please note the results of the certified sorting & grading of her fleece, spring 2008..... a Grade 1 indicates a micron of <20 and this includes her neck fiber! Plus, the outstanding score in uniformity is a solid indicator of the top quality end products that could be made from this fleece! Sierra's 2009 fleece will be shown at the GWAS in May, 2010.
Sierra's mom is the epitome of the perfect alpaca mom, never a health issue, birthing easily, loving fiercely & producing LOTS of milk for her offspring, thus far FIVE females & one male out of six pregnancies!! Davina's first cria, Macho Colorado's Sneak Preview (MB like her mom), has produced four healthy offspring out of four pregnancies, three GREY when bred to grey.
Davina's second cria, Dancing Wind Tehya, has produced two GREY cria when bred to grey, her first cria being BB bred to MF LZD Kintara! Sierra's sire is none other than the remarkable Felix son, NWA/line Fallstaff, who continues to win ribbons for his fleece at nearly seven years of age. Ancestors on her Mom's side include Acero Marka's Wooly Bully from the outstanding alpaca farm in Bolivia & 5Peruvian El Cid.
Sierra is currently being leased by Windrush Alpacas in Clovis, New Mexico, (transferred from Llano Soleado Alpacas) and bred to an outstanding herdsire, Sagebrush Atticus. If you are interested in this outstanding maiden, please contact myself or Rosemary and Ric Metcalf.
