| | | Tapioka is the RARE light fawn alpaca out of two black parents and FOUR black grandparents. And she has amazing fleece! Strange but fabulous! What this means is that genetically Tapioka is probably a black alpaca but the fact that she is fawn means that she may throw grey or even let color pass through. She's extremely versatile and phenotypically perfect.
A Peruvian Black Mesquite daughter, Tapioka is gorgeous with lovely, square conformation and a wonderful fleece! Tapioka's sire is now only available for 10 outside breedings a year for $7500. Her brother, Eternal Flame, is the highest selling black male in the world ($361,000). These genetics are rock solid.
Tapioka is now a proven dam after giving us a stunning little true black female cria, Ivy, sired by Peruvian Black Knight. Ivy is an exquisite little girl. You can hardly pull your eyes away from her. With lustrous blue black fleece, striking presence, and great conformation, you cannot go wrong. Plus she's a sweetheart! Ivy has superior density, bold well-defined crimp, presence galore, and exceptional fineness. Ivy took first in a large Dark class of brown and black alpacas in Houston. The judge was impressed with her combination of fineness and density plus her lovely conformation.
Ivy is sired by the famous Peruvian Black Knight. Her dam is the gorgeous Tapioka who is sired by the incomparable Peruvian Black Masquite, now limited to 10 breedings a year at $7500 each. Not only does Ivy possess highly sought after genetics, but she also sells with a breeding to SCA Peruvian Magnum. Magnum has incredible fleece statistics. Magnum is an AOBA Champion with a Get of Sire win and 2 AOBA Champion offspring. He has also sired true black offspring!
