Morgiana
White, 820980, Peruvian & Bolivian
Morgiana is a big female with awesome bone, and very dense fleece covering her from head to toe. She has a very impressive presence. Her grandsire was the infamous Ppperuvian Auzengate, and her sire was Peruvian Accoyo Chimbote (now deceased) of Mountain Edge Alpacas. He was 1st Place at MAPACA and 2nd and 3rd at the AOBA National with up to 23 animals in his class (They did not use to divide the large classes). This amazing male sheared 12.65 lbs a four years of age--not including leg fiber!! Morgiana's dam, Diente, is full Bolivian (Acero Marka descendent) out of Ameripaca's Acero Marka's Bobby. Bobby has produced many show quality cria. Both Diente and Chimbote have produced colors from white to rich maroons, and blacks.
Farrah's Aramis
Light Brown, 837737, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian
Aramis was bred with fine fleece in mind. His dam, Farrah, took the blue ribbon in the Hand-spinner's Competition at the AOBA Nationals in 2002 with her fleece sample. She has an incredible handle to her fleece, even at age seven. His sire, Tryst, is a beautiful full Peruvian fawn from Rocky Run Alpacas. Tryst also has a nice hand, accompanied by unbelievable density. Aramis is on track to combining the best of both parents. He has a beautiful light brown shade to his fleece. Aramis has extremely fine fleece, and a wonderful hand to his fiber. He has well defined crimp and has terrific coverage from head to toe. Check out his fabulous histogram! He is a good size and weighed 80 pounds at only six months old! Aramis has a gorgeous head, crowned by a full, thick topknot. We look forward to showing him in the coming year. Aramis started his first show of the year in 2004 by winning a first place and color championship. The judge commented on his proud carriage, fluid movement, and incred
Micron Count 2007: AFD 19.5, SD 4.1, CV 21.1, Comfort Factor 97.9, Curve 29.4 at 7 Months of age
Lucy is an absolutely stunning girl! She is from extremely rare genetic lines on her dam's side and her sire is a Brown Color Champion! Lucy is a large girl at almost a year old. She is solid, has good bone, correct proportions, straight legs, a perfect bite, and great genetics! She is a lovely light brown color with fiber coverage down to her toes. The picture I have posted of Lucy's dam does not do her justice. She is quite an impressive female. Morgiana's full Accoyo sire, Chimbote, was hand picked by an International judge and owned by an AOBA judge. His fiber coverage was just massive. Chimbote's sire, Ppperuvian Auzengate, was the #1 pick of the 1995 Five Star Import. Auzengate was bred for fineness, maintaining a 19.5 micron fleece at 2 1/2 years old. Auzengate only sired 18 cria in this country prior to being sold to Australia for well over $100,000 years ago--which at that time was phenomenal. Many of his US cria have been exported or have died now, making this line extremely rare. At a class I took with a VERY well respected International fiber judge, it was mentioned that Auzengate was the only animal he had ever examined who truly had the "soft rolling skin" so coveted. He described "dulaps" hanging from his side. Chimbote's owner's state that Chimbote also inherited that characteristic. I contacted Auzengate's owner in Australia who stated that if the Americans had known what they had, Auzengate never would have been allowed to leave the country. Auzengate's Australian offspring have some 200 Championships, with 17 Supreme Championship awards when last checked. Chimbote's dam, Ppperuvian Ayaviri, also produced Vengador's Accoyo Tachon and El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo(13.25 S/P ratio)! Every one of Lucy's grandparents have produced blue ribbon winners! Lucy is at a great age where you could show her, or she will be ready to breed in under a year. Lucy will come with a breeding to any of Havenfield's solely owned herdsires
