On August 24, 2007 our award winning Preciosa gave birth to an extremely nice white male cria named Avalanche. Avalanche was sired by PATAGONIA'S Nishio, Patagonia's top herdsire, who is true black. His fleece is soft and crimpy, and his conformation is excellent. He is a full brother to our award winning Starlite, who has an incredible follicle count of 84.75 SQ MM! Avalanche's fleece characteristics are amazing! And as a white out of a black sire, Patagonia's Nishio, and a brown dam, Preciosa, he could easily produce color with fleece that is bundled, fine, and dense. Let him add to your herd!
Awards Received Avalanche received a 3rd Place Full Fleece/Halter award at Alpacapalooza 2008 and a Full Fleece/Halter award at the NW Alpaca Showcase 2008 in large classes of white juvenile males at just 7&8 months of age. 4th AWE 2009 out of a large class of white yearling males Judge Cathy Merkley: "When this little guy grows up he'll be a real beauty.
