La Bamba is a healthy, well built, vicuna-style true black female from the Alpacas de La Patagonia herd. Grandsires are Il Italiano and Shakleton who have sired many award winners, including La Bamba's multiple award-winning sire, Donovan (now owned by Silver Lining Alpacas who recently purchased Silver Charm!).

La Bamba breeds and births easily, has abundant milk and produces very nice, healthy, well-conformed, show quality crias. She consistently lets the sire's strong traits through along with her extreme fleece fineness.

Her fleece is still extremely fine, soft and very uniform across the blanket with high frequency crimp and no visible guard hair.

She has a fun personality and is very easy to manage. She has had three crias (see Jujuy, Vicuno and Rio) and is currently being held open (no health issues, just her owner's decision) so you can choose her mate.

Atacama is a compact, robust male by two black, award-winning parents. His sire is the well-known Michelangelo by P. Guellermo and his dam is by 4P Altiplano Gold. Both of Atacama's granddams are silver grays. Atacama is true black all over his body.

Atacama placed third in a class of 11 at Alpacapalooza 2004. The judge remarked on Atacama's uniformity and density.

Atacama has a well-mannered disposition and a very strong libido since he started breeding. He is an ideal match for Ellen's female, La Bamba who hails from the Shackleton and Il Italiano lines.
