| | | Winefred is a great foundation female whose cria are outstanding! She has extremely fine fiber and nice proportions, is a great and attentive mother, and is the leader of our band of females in spite of her petite stature. She has great fiber coverage and staple length along with a very beautiful face. Her large dark eyes are very expressive and she has a short,fine muzzle. Her temperament make her a joy to work with, she is docile and has nice presence.
She has thus far produced cria in various shades, even beige male Numero Uno when bred to a black male, Pionero. Her daughter, Fredrika of Ays, is a champion rose grey.
Her son "Numero Uno" has thus far received three ribbons in major shows for his fiber and is due to have his first cria hit the ground in NY next spring out of Fiona of Ays at Ye Olde Homestead Farm. Winnie has what it takes to produce very nice cria that mature into nicely conformed adult alpacas.

| | | Firethorn is a full bolivian med. fawn male from the Acera Marka line. We were so taken with his fleece quality we had to have him! He has fine bundled crimp from his topknot to his toes that is uniform , bright, and super lusterous. His father , WC Magnitude, is full Bolivian . His mother is our own full Bolivian Acero Marka's Bonnie - out of the top Canadian black herdsire, Acero Marka's Bernard. He definitely has the potential to produce much desired colorful cria with the correct females as dams along with improved fleece quality in terms of luster, super density and crimpy penciling.
We are thrilled that in his first fleece entry ( our first skirted fleece) - 2O05 Nationals, he easily placed above many all Peruvians from top farms!
Firethorn is the first son of WC Magnitude, and many more show winning offspring are sure to follow in the next season. He is large for his age, with tremendous confomation, a wonderful gait, straight legs and a classic typey head. His | |
