Pearl is a black female out of a brown National Champion and a medium silver grey Dom Timbo daughter. Her 2007 cria, Galena (named for the black stone), was up and nursing in 15 minutes. The pictures were taken while she was running onto our pasture when she was 1/2 hour old. She is our replacement for Pearl since we sold Pearlessence (06 cria).
Pearl has also been fully depreciated so it makes offering her for sale a little easier.
She'll be off our sales list in June to prepare for her July delivery.
Pearl was screened for BVDV with the serum neutralization test in January 2006, and we continue to PSR test all cria at birth. For small farms we do offer | |

| | | Dark Shaddow's book is open for a few more outside breedings in 2007 and then will close. Dark Shaddow was awarded the prestigious 2006 Reserve Herdsire of the Year! Shaddow is what is considered truely an "IMPACT" male. He is the only true black herdsire in the US that we know of that has produced the most champion award winning offspring and is the most consistent. Fifteen awards including "Get of Sire", 3 championships, presence, crimp, density, fineness, luster, conformation, thick topknot(the densest we have ever seen) and coverage. Shaddow is as black as coal and his fleece is non-fading even at 8 years of age. He has no gray fibers at all like most true black males of his age that we have seen.
