Misty is the daughter of the Australian Accoyo Elite Bogart. He has very few offspring in the United States and we are not even sure he is still living. Misty acquired his tremendous fleece and ability to through color as she has had several black crias! Her TB 2007 creation is out of a beige male named Peruvian Noahh, and he has the most beautiful black crimpy fleece! White + Beige = black?? He was unfortunate in getting the white markings on his head and feet, indicating some sort of grey in the background somewhere. Update: Dec. 12, 2008,Misty had a fawn female cria out of our white full accoyo Caligula son, Stonewall. White + white = medium fawn?? Grey head, white forhead, dark ears, white feet.. hmm... there is grey in the background somewhere! Misty is a great mother and birthed unassisted. She has plenty of milk. We have chosen to go with our Full Peruvian, solid ROSE GREY hersire, Uncle Sam for this breeding. We are hoping his extremely long staple length, and tight high amplitude crimp from skin to tip will be passed along to Misty who has plenty of density and softness but could use a boost in the level of character to the fiber. Knowing that Misty can produce colorful offpsring also was a plus for Uncle Sam by Peruvian Powerplay, will bring in all sorts of color! 2012, black female cria (not included in this sale), 2013 rebred to Troubadour....
