Goldie is a full Peruvian light fawn female, who proved her ability to produce quality color with her first cria; a dark rose grey full Peruvian female with black points. We selected Goldie to breed with our Champion, full Peruvian, true black herdsire, PC Peruvian Knightrider. Goldie has crimp, fineness, good density and handle, and beautiful consistency to her fleece, which earned her the second place ribbon in a very competitive AOBA Nationals fleece show, placing ahead of a Snowmass animal and beaten only by one of Magical Farms' finest!
A great mother and milker, Goldie also has a perfect bite, solid conformation and a gorgeous head and top knot. Her temperament is excellent and she is trusting and easily handled. In Fall 2006, her breeding with the full Accoyo Trujillo Alto Peru (deceased) produced a medium fawn son, with black gums, Magnus. We plan to keep this ribbon-winning male for our own breeding program, as we are confident he can produce quality color, especially
SUNBURST Cortez
True Black, 819001, Full Peruvian
Cortez is a gorgeous one of a kind! He has fiber coverage from his head to his toes. He has generous crimp and a very soft handle. The judges report his excellent conformation and his fabulous character. Cortez is a real head turner! Cortez is true black with a brindling of medium brown. To my knowledge, none of his cria have had his unusual patterning. They have all been solid colors from beige to black and several colors inbetween.
Cortez is the progeny of two gorgious imports. His sire the renoun Stachowski herdsire 5PERUVIAN CAMELOT imported from the Macusani region of Peru. He is a robust maroon male with dark points. He has produded many champion and ribbon winning offspring.
His dam, 6PERUVIAN BEASTAR is a maroon import from the Pinaya Region of Peru. She has produced stunning ribbon winning cria from white to bay black. Her latest cria is Special Dark a handsome fellow out o
1/4/10...This morning Robin delivered a gorgeous dark brown baby boy. The kid fell out with little warning and while I went running inside for towels he got up and walked about 6 feet. Now that's a robust cria! He's a little early, but obviously not premature and he is a talker. Nice straight legs, and bright and crimpy fleece. As she was with her previous cria, Robin is a patient and loving Mom. Wow! Full Peruvian Rose Gray and bred to awesome Rose Gray Quetzal son Zephyrus. Her pedigree says it all....Camelot, Elever, Pluro. No wonder this girl is so outstanding. She has the prettiest, typiest head. She has nice, crimpy fleece, great coverage, and exceptional conformation. Her histogram numbers show how soft her fiber is. She definately stands out in a crowd. She has done well in shows and has now been retired to her breeding career. Even pregnant, this girl is amazingly calm and easily handled. Great price to introduce some terrific genetics and a very stylish alpaca into your herd! Since she has been such a great producer of color I thought that Snowmass Nova's Gold would be a great choice this year. This is one of the babies I am most anticipation! Free breedbacks for as long as you own her is included in this price!
