5Peruvian Silverado 9042
Medium Silver Grey, 800670, Full Peruvian
The legendary Silverado! This macho has produced many, many show winning offspring. Silverado is co-owned with our good friend Anthony Stachowski of Stachowski Alpacas in Mantua, Ohio.
Lydia is a 1/2 Peruvian daughter of 5Peruvian Silverado, a legendary Peruvian macho who has produced numerous show-winning offspring. Lydia has great conformation and strong bone. Her fiber is super, super dense, with lots of crimp and beautiful luster. She is a wonderful foundation breeder, an easy birther & a great mom with lots of milk. She tends to watch over all the cria in the herd.
In June of this year Lydia gave us yet another girl, an exquisite true-black beauty we have named Red Acres Samoa. This girl is everything we had hoped for. On a very windy day in 2008 Lydia gave birth to a white female whom we named Lydia's Windsong. Windsong is a well-conformed and well-grown girl with loads of shiney, white fiber and a long staple. In 2007 Lydia also birthed a female cria. RSP Pawlet has very dense, soft, crimpy dark brown fleece, and she too has a very long staple length.
Lydia is soon to be bred to Crown Point's "Neruda's King Solomon," a very handsome dark silver grey or "modern grey" who throws dark or grey offspring even when bred to white. Solomon is an amazing animal, and he typifies all that we look for in alpacas of color. Our plan is for a grey cria from this pairing, but no matter what the color the result should be fabulous!
Lydia sells with six months free board and must stay on our farm until her current cria is weaned.
We may consider selling half interest in her for $4500.
