Jamae is a 9year old Caligula daughter who has his heavy bone and abundant fleece, with almost no medullation. She is an easy breeder, easy birther, who delivers punctually year after year. She's the meaning of the term "foundation female"! Update: October 5. Jamae just delivered a beautiful white daughter, sired by WD Steiner. Again a textbook perfect delivery.

5-2007 Stud Update - Steiner sires Blue Ribbon Winner! His first daughter, Wolf Den Meadow Brz, is a gorgeous little duplicate of him. She just took 1st place of 13 at the Great Western. We've got orders in for more winners! Recognized in some of the largest show rings again and again for both conformation and fleece, Steiner has the complete package. Take a look at his winning record, but take a closer look at the stud himself!
Morning Rise is a fly fishing term that we thought sounded fitting for this young lady. We found her fully dry and following her mom around at 7:30 in the morning, two weeks before she was due.
Rise is a large boned, well conformed female, with her bright white fleece coming from her mom, a Caligula daughter. Her father, WD Steiner, has nothing but dark color throughout his lineage, and so we think Rise has lots of color lurking under that white phenotype.
On shearing day we were again impressed with Rise's fleece handle. It has a very nice handle, (CV of 15.1!!!) with uniform crimp and character.
Riser, as she is called has a lot of undeveloped potential. We think she would be an excellent foundation female herdstarter.
