Miss Princess Grace

Light Rose Grey, 1144628

Gracie is one the favorites with visitors....when she's not pregnant! She has very soft fiber and even though she is registered as light rose grey, it should probably be classified as indefinite or possibly fancy. Gracie has been a very good mother. She breeds easily and settles quickly. She is an excellent foundation female.

  High Plains Lockhart
    Dark Fawn, 841357, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

2x GET OF SIRE

Lockhart is a handsome young male with very exclusive genetics which are new to the U.S. He originates from Canada and is one of only a couple of breeding age male off-spring in the U.S. from HFL Super Sam, a renowned Canadian male who has received numerous first place awards and continues to produce off-spring who dominate their classes at shows. Lockhart has dark fawn, dense fleece with consistent frequent, crisp crimp. He has impeccable, well-balanced proportions and conformation, with perfect movement and style (judge's statement). As if this weren't enough Lockhart has a calm, easy disposition which will surely impress you.

2008 is only the 2nd year for Lockhart's off-spring to be shown and they are doing very well with several 1st place ribbons, a color championship, and three of his young daughters - Lydia, Cassandra and Victoria - gave him the GET-OF-SIRE banner at the 2008 Minnesota Alpaca Expo.

Lydia's conformation is excellent and her soft fiber is the color of antique gold, showing good density and fiber character. She definitely has the "cute factor" and manages to catch the eye of visitors to our barn. Lydia is cautious at first but her desire for a neck rub soon overcomes her and she becomes your "best friend". Her dam is our Gracie (Miss Princess Grace) who has grey on both sides of her lineage. Lydia's sire is our Lockhart.

Lydia was awarded a blue ribbon and color champ banner in her very first show, at age 6.5 months. We look for a bright future for Lydia whether she remains in our herd or goes to another breeder's alpaca family. Lydia's purchase price includes a full reproductive guarantee.

On June 18, 2011 Lydia gave birth to a handsome medium fawn male. His sire is The Casanova Kid. The birth was quick and easy, at least from a human prospective. Haven't asked Lydia what she thought of it! Lydia has ample milk and is proving to be a very good first time mom.
