Solid, dark alpacas are coveted for good reason. Their fiber is highly prized, and this girl is no exception.

At a 1.5, Shadow Dancer's AFD was just 20.9. At 2.5 her AFD was only 25 microns, but in '06 it tested slightly finer at 24.8, showing she holds onto that soft handle into her life as a production dam. In 07, after multiple crias, her AFD was just 28.7.

Shadow Dancer is a tall, well-proportioned daughter of Sinopsis Nocturna. She's got a strong constitution & she's "double black."

Shadow Dancer is a careful & attentive mother. Like most alpacas, she's wisely cautious & protective, but not hyper about it. She is rock steady, pays attention to all that's around her & teaches her offspring well.

From True Black bloodlines, when bred to black she will likely throw black. Two of her 3 crias were pattern, as she was bred to Wendy's patterned herdsire, ABA Accoyo Pegasus. Shadow Dancer delivered a cria by Wendy's fawn herdsire, Lincoln's George (a Camilio/Timoteo grandson)late May '08.
