ABS Cheyenne

Light Fawn, 821330

Cheyenne is one of the best production females on our farm. She breeds easily, delivers 19+ lb. crias with no complications and is a wonderful, nurturing mom. She is an excellent milk producer, who passes high IgG's to her cria, which easily reach 90+ lbs by weaning time.

All of Cheyenne's cria have fantastic density and have produced volumes of quality fiber. We are extremely pleased with her last two cria, both females. Shyla born in 2006 has all the wonderful traits of her dam and the added greatness of her award winning sire CL9 Altair! Lacey born in 2007 looks to be another great fiber producer with a very soft handle, and she exhibits the nice fineness of her sire Velvet's Prince William.

An easy keeper, Cheyenne has a sweet and loving personality, and is a nondisruptive member of our herd. She has very dense fiber and uniform crimp throughout, her crimp at age 7 is still showing great character. Shyla and Lacey are fine examples of what she can produce.

  Velvet's Prince William
    Bay Black, 832674, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

William is son of our best-ever rose gray dam Greta. He shares her exquisite fineness, and sired by a full Accoyo Camilio son, he has all the density, bundles and shine that you could dream for. Crimp like a merino, holding it all together as he moves into middle age. At age 7 he still has the fleece of a one-year old. Color Champion in classes when he was 3 against juveniles, judges always comment on his fineness exceeding the youngsters. Crias exceed expectations - has produced silver and rose whenever bred to it, two 2nd places at Futurity, 2nd at Nationals, hoping to get more of his cria to the shows this season and next! All have that incredible Greta-fineness and high frequency crimp in gorgeous colors. Throws a beautiful head. We are looking forward to putting his daughters under our new silver, Imbroglio to concentrate on that merino-type fleece in color.

Are you looking for an excellent addition to your foundation herd? Lacey could be your answer.

Lacey has a wonderfully soft fleece that is fine, dense and very crimpy. Her dam, Cheyenne is one of our best foundation females and just keeps putting exceptional alpacas on the ground for us. Lacey seems to be developing into a very good example of what most breeders are looking for when starting or expanding their herd.

Lacey is the daughter of Velvet's Prince William (champion Bay Black), who is out of the great PPeruvian Camilio bloodline. So Lacey has very good genetics and lots of color in her background. She has inherited her sire's presence and conformation, along with good density, bundles and shine.

Lacey's birth weight was 19.5 pounds and she has continued to grow into a robust, and incredibly full fleeced female.

Your purchase of Lacey includes a breeding to our herdsire Victor's HemiAccoyo™ Aristocrat, and should produce an outstanding cria in the Summer of 2010. Let our breeding program help you Build Your Herd from a Solid Foundation!
