| | | Tall and statuesque, Lucy Brown will draw you in with her large, dark, liquid eyes. She is sired by the true black Bolivian Black Magic out of the medium fawn Bolivian Aileen. Lucy has a regal appearance about her and has been a very attentive and protective mother, is an easy breeder with easy births and plenty of milk to support her crias. She has a level topline, straight legs, and long stretchy neck. Her dense fleece is locked with fairly good luster. She has passed color through to her crias and is the dam of Bella Sylvania (out of Silvestre) who graces the cover of the 2005 fall issue of Alpacas Magazine. That same photo from the magazine is seen on our farm page on Alpaca Nation and is used in our ranch advertising. We were so happy with this cria from Lucy that we bred her back to Silvestre and got the exact same results the second time around in Bella Venezia. Venezia and Sylvania earned a blue ribbon in Produce of Dam for Lucy at the 2006 GWAS show. Lucy's first cri | |

| | | Silvestre el Boliviano is a true black suri herdsire from the famous Black Debut line. He is a tall, stretchy male with incredible lock definition and a shiny, non-fading, beautiful, true black color. He's also got that strikingly handsome, white face that the entire Black Debut line is famous for.
We also own two of Silvestre's half sisters, Debutante and Poppyseed, and they are some of the nicest animals on our ranch! Debutante, though never shown, has given us two gorgeous boys - the first being a multiple blue ribbon winner who was sold as a juvenile, and the other just now preparing for his first show season. Black Debut's Poppyseed, Silvestre's other half sister, is herself a multiple blue ribbon winner.
Like his half sisters, Silvestre is truly one of our most elite alpacas. He was originally owned by Alpacas of America, who doesn't show their animals, so as not to compete with their buying customers. | |
