"Birdie Girl" as we affectionately call her, was the first female we puchased 13 years ago and she has been a baby maker ever since. She had 5 female crias in a row(two true black, 1 MF, 1 white and 1 MB), then aborted twin grey females at 8 months gestation, then, after a year off, had two males (MF & MB).
She is finishing up a year's rest and we'll see if she still wants to breed this Spring. We joke around and call her our whiskey barrel on toothpicks because after her 4th cria she never did loose that pregnancy pooch! But that is OK- we lover her anyway. Birdie is confirmed pregnant by Emerson and is due April 08. Birdie is a great mom and when she retires from breeding, will be a fantastic "auntie".

Chianti is a true Maroon Alpaca with black points. His crias run from medium brown to true black. Chianti has a small, consistent crimp from head to the tip of his tail and density up the yazoo. His progeny are snapped up and all are maintaining beautiful consistent fiber. He is a "sleeper" in our stud row who has more than earned his way. His sire, Hannibal was two time black male winner at AOBA. BVD PCR Neg 2/06.
