Want some Royal Inca Legend Genetics? Then here's your chance. KPR Mark of Excellence is 3/4 Peruvian NEPHEW OF LEGEND'S CHALLENGER & a spectacular junior herdsire from a long line of high quality grays. Mark is the son of KPR Pedro and the grandson of 5Peruvian Royal Inca Legend (Deceased July 2006), a famous gray herdsire of Knoblocks Prairie Ranch who commanded a $5000 stud fee. Pedro was never shown, but is considered by his breeders to be one of the best sons of Legend. The Legend line is known for producing champion grays, such as the 2004 AOBA National Champion gray male, KPR Silver Legend and champion Legend's CHALLENGER who IS a FULL BROTHER TO MARK'S SIRE PEDRO. Legend offspring sell for higher prices regardless of the country of origin. This lineage is also known for passing down incredible density, amazing crimp, and softness in rare gray colors.
Mark is for sale by Silver Waters Alpaca Ranch and resides with the alpacas of Twins Alpaca Farm. He is related to all the females (Legend daughters) of Silver Waters and is for sale because of this. Mark was evaluated by his breeder(20 years experience)who said that since he is very soft, dense and crimpy with excellent conformation that he would be priced at $20K if he were still on his farm. Mark is a proven herdsire now, expecting his first cria with Beanie of Twins' alpacas in January 2009.
Mark's fleece, conformation, and presence are amazing. His first shearing was a soft crimpy 19 micron (royal baby soft) silver fleece. He is easy to handle and gets along well with other males. He has dark eyes and a good bite. He'd be a great herdsire for someone wanting a beautiful quality silver gray.
Fiber samples available upon request. Greatly reduced sale price. Financing Available.
