Salone is a very lovely Accoyo White Whizzard daughter. She has excellent conformation and coverage to her toes. Her fleece is dense and fine with bold crimp. With strong Peruvian/Accoyo genetics, Salone produced a beautiful white female in '06, Peruvian Annalou, sired by Smith Haven Farm's My Peruvian Durango.
And, so far Salone has produced only female cria....a great thing!
We have bred Salone to our co-owned herdsire, Snowmass Legacy's Golden Boy; we'll be anxiously awaiting the outcome of this match next year(2008).
Durango is truly a one of a kind herdsire. He is, in our opinion, the finest son of Accoyo Peruvian Mr. President. We bought him on a whim from Magical Farms at the 2002 North American Alpaca Show, (where he went on to win first place). He was the densest alpaca we had EVER encountered. Not only does Durango pass along that unbelievable fleece to his offspring, but his kind & friendly personality as well. Annalou was sired by MY Peruvian Durango, (DURANGO'S BREEDINGS ARE CLOSED) truly a one of a kind herdsire with an endless list of Championships. He is truly one of the finest sons of Accoyo Peruvian Mr. President. Mr. President was the highest selling male at the 2002 Breeder’s Choice Auction for $155,000.00. He is ranked at the top with some of the densest males and passes on his traits without compromising fiber character or fineness.
Annalou's lineage includes PPeruvian Guellermo, considered the greatest herdsire to come out of Canada and a Multi National Grand Champion. On her Dams side is the now deceased Full Accoyo award winning 4Peruvian White Wizzard. He had produced numerous winning offspring.
Annalou is the dam to ZU Peruvian Goldfinger who has surpassed our expectations, not only in his appearance, conformation and fleece qualities, but his show record speaks for itself. In his first seven AOBA certified shows Goldfinger has won a Reserve Championship, 3 Blue Ribbons and placed 2nd four times. The Judges all have commented on his fineness, brightness, bundling crimp and his staple length.
