Andre's show record has proven him to be one of the finest Bueno sons of all times. He has the show presence, conformation, fiber characteristics, black pigment and color that makes him one of the most sought after herdsires to improve your herd. WE CONSIGNED ANDRE'S DAUGHTER, MAPLE BROOK FAWN, TO THE "BREEDER'S EDGE AUCTION" IN LEESBURG, VIRGINIA ON SEPT 24, AND SHE WAS THE HIGHEST SELLING ALPACA AT THE AUCTION - SHE SOLD FOR $130,000.00 TO NANCY JOHANSON OF BROOKHOLLOW FARM. We are extremely pleased with Andre's crias - he has produced color from light fawn to true black.
Hannah came to our farm in early 2007 from our neighbors and friends, the Beaudrys of North East Alpacas. We purchased her because we needed another female who could bring premier genetics to our farm. She was just the ticket, with both Royal Fawn and Bueno in her line. She is a large, solid animal with a body perfect for carrying cria and a wonderfully attentive, milk-filled mom.
Her first cria, light fawn GHA Malena, is phenotypically perfect with long, dense fiber carrying a uniform, broad crimp. Hannah's second cria is GHA Rusoro, from PH Navigator's Commander, is a tribute to the genetics that run deep on both sides. Again phenotypically perfect, his fleece is true black, very fine and long with a broad crimp style. Her latest is GHA Allie, a product of her breeding with Hemingway-Accoyo Nautilus' Nexxus, is a soft, dense medium brown with gray tips and a reddish hue. In July she was bred to Snowshoe Aristides of Snowshoe Farm Alpacas, a dense, crimpy multi-bannered white of Hemingway Legacy lineage. Her cria, GHA Aurora, was born on 6/9 and she is stunning.
Now with daughters on our farm, it's time for someone else to have a turn with this wonderful cria producer. We'll miss her but we need the space. Reserve her now for delivery after weaning next fall.
