 Apple Valley Ranch is located just north of Lyons, Colorado along the North St Vrain Creek; about 1/2 hour from Estes Park, and 1/2 hour from Boulder.
We started raising alpacas in 2002, and have been enjoying it ever since. Our herd has grown from 6 alpacas and 1 maremma (guardian dog) to 14 alpacas and 8 chickens, and a duck, as well as our "house" dogs. We learn something every day from these precious animals, and hope to continue enjoying them for years to come.
We have a small herd of huacayas, with diverse genetics from Peru and Chile, as well as the UK & Australia. ...
