Lance is an AWESOME GUARDIAN LLama. He is currently kept with my younger alpacas.He has also been kept with females and cria as well as adult males. NO PROBLEMS!I move him around according to pasture availability :) Lance PATROLS the fence line and is extremely ALERT for stray dogs, strange people and coyote. He is NOT aggressive, but will put himself between you and his "herd". I HAVE NEVER BEEN SPIT ON BY LANCE :) I have had Lance since he was 6 months old. He is gelded, shorn yearly, and up to date on all vaccines and deworming. He is very gentle and easy to work with! His fiber is GORGEOUS! I actually sell out of his fiber before some of the alpaca. I have gotten three guardian dogs so Lance is looking for a new job to protect your alpacas, sheep, or goats! I am asking ONLY $350.00 for this wonderful male. NOT ALL LLAMAS ARE GOOD GUARDIAN LLAMAS.( in fact I have had other llamas here that did not even acknowledge people or dogs that came into the pasture!) Lance KNOWS his job and does it WELL!
