I no longer sell Team JW (a.k.a. MSA Equipment) Alpaca Chutes, so it is time to sell my "demo" unit as well. This is the chute now sold in Colorado and New York for $1500. I am selling it for $950. Everything works fine. There is minor surface rust from me hosing the dust off of it in the barn. If you really want it to look brand new, it is black, so it should be easy to touch up/match the paint. I moved the wheels on one end of the unit, so I can move it around easily, and don't need to remove the wheels for using it with alpacas. I left the original wheel mounts if you want to put the wheels/tires in the middle of the unit, where Team JW/MSA put them. Local pick up only/no shipping (Wexford, PA 15090). It is built with heavy steel, which is sand blasted and then coated with a rust protection paint. The floor is a thick plywood covered by a heavy rubber mat. There are punch-out hole in the matt for installing an alpaca scale. The chute incorporates two large wheels for easy mobility. It uses quick-release latches, padded vertical neck restraints, multiple latch points, and belly straps. In addition, the chute has 2 doors on each side, which open for easy access to the alpaca. The lower door allows safe access for trimming toe nails and other leg work. The higher door provides access to the torso for shots and other body attention.
