Class room covers: Mornings dedicated to learning the Theory of Sorting as well as the nuts and bolts of fiber. This includes: Fiber Basics, Understanding Histograms and Skin Biopsies, Fiber Attributes that Affect Processing, Understanding Grades, Textile basics, Value and Advantage of Certified Sorted® fiber. Management for shearing days as well as tips to help you make the most of your fiber harvest. We cover many types of fiber. Afternoon hands on covers: Afternoons will be “hands on” activities that focus on learning how to sort using the Certified Sorted® system.
