Rio, Illinois is located in west-central Illinois. Our property sits about 1/2 mile west of Interstate 74 between the Galesburg exits and the rest area.
From the north:
Take Interstate 74 south. Exit at the Woodhull exit. At the bottom of the ramp, turn west on 17. When you come to a stop sign where the road T's, turn south. Travel several miles, cross the railroad tracks, and turn east on the next blacktop road. This is called the Ontario blacktop, Knox County Road 35. (Hint: If you pass the Motorcycle Hill Climb sign (on the west side of the road, you've gone too far.) After turning, travel east over the railroad tracks, past a horse farm (on the north side) and up to the cell phone towers. The road by the towers is called 500E. At this road, turn north. We are the first driveway on the left. You'll see the Heartland "Criations" sign out front.
From the south:
Take Interstate 74 north. Exit onto Rte. 34 (towards Monmouth). Travel west and exit at Rte 150. Go north on Rte. 150 for six or seven miles. You will pass a sign on the left that says Motorcycle Hill Climb. At the top of that hill turn east onto the blacktop road. (This is called the Ontario blacktop, Knox County Road 35. (Hint: If you cross the railroad tracks, you've gone too far.)After turning, travel east over the railroad tracks, past a horse farm (on the north side) and up to the cell phone towers.
