 We are a small ranch just north of the Twin Cities metro area. We started out with Snickers and Hershey, two fiber boys. We were living on ten acres of mature oak trees and very little pasture. We decided to keep the boys for a full year then decide if indeed alpacas were as lovable and addicting as we suspected. As they say, the rest is history. We moved to a place with lots of pasture, bought three female and had two females crias born shortly after. Our herd has expanded but we will stay small so we can have individual contact with each alpaca daily.
