Our farm is located in North Central Texas, along the Red River in the town
of Burkburnett.
We raise both Suri and Huaccyas.
Established in December of 2005, the Jones Family started with 2 alpacas
and five acres.
It all began several years earlier when we saw an infomercial. At that moment,
I (Lorraine) decided if our dream of living outside the city limits became achievable,
we would have alpacas.
Of course the rest of the family just laughed it off as just another fantasy that
couldn’t possibly happen.
Needless to say, we finally purchased five acres just outside of town and I convinced
the family to just go “look” at 2 alpacas in a nearby town.
Those big brown eyes and gentle nature got the entire family mesmerized.
