Welcome to Middle Eight Farm. We are situated on 8 acres in the gently rolling hills of Frederick County just outside of Mt. Airy Maryland.
We purchased our first alpacas in April 2000. Along with them came many new friends. Our new friends, both two and four legged, have taught us quite alot and we continue to learn more every day. We await the birth of each new cria with the wonder and excitement of a small child at Christmas. One of the best things about alpaca farming (aside from the alpacas themselves) is that everyone helps each other. We find that very refreshing in today's world. After years in high stress careers, it feels great to wake up looking forward to each new day. Life has never been this much fun before! It's the way things should be.
