 It seems all alpaca owners have a story to tell - a unique tale about
how they first came to know and love these amazing creatures,
eventually deciding to take the plunge into the wonderful world of
alpacas.
In March 2006, in pursuit of materials with which to build a new deck,
our family attended the annual Louisville Home Show at the Kentucky
Fair and Expo Center. We noticed an alpaca show - the Kentucky
Classic - in the next wing and decided to show our daughter the
alpacas before heading home. We had no clue what an alpaca was and
