 We purchased our small acreage in early 1999 and after some research decided to get into the alpaca industry. In 2001 we purchased 2 Guellermo daughters to start our herd. Since our first 7 births were males we have not grown as fast as we hoped. Subsequently we have purchased 4 more females to help our growth. In 2005 we had 3 female and 2 male cria born thus ending 3 years of only male cria. In 2006 we had 2 females and 2 males born.
