We have a 40 acre alpaca ranch in the Owyhee River Canyon in Oregon. We found this little spot of heaven on our way to go bass fishing about 4 years ago. It was an old cattle ranch,surrounded by BLM land on all four sides, but had not been used for about thirty years. We were both retired and needed an after retirement activity and an alpaca advertisement on television caught our eye and since we both came from farming and ranching backgrounds, it seemed like a perfect fit.
