 In 1999, Whispering Meadows Alpaca Breeders was established by the German family, Richard, Lisa, Tiffany and Krystal. The herd was started with 2 Huacaya alpacas, and has now grown to 22 Huacaya and Suri alpacas with an array of colors. With our family of alpacas we are consistently striving to improve fiber quality, confirmation, and the over all personality of the alpacas. We believe alpacas should be enjoyed as well as raised. Our farm is heavily involved in 4H and has started the first alpaca club in Frederick, MD. These club members are starting to dominate the show ring.
