Kathy & Clark started PaintBrush Farms in 1996. Clark had retired as a stockbroker and Kathy wanted to 'stay home' also. After researching numerous 'at home' businesses, Kathy spotted an AOBA ad in Sunset Magazine. We researched alpacas, visited farms, read everything we could and attended the AOBA Conference in Pueblo, Colorado. Then we bought are first bred females and we've been alpacaholics ever since....
