Maple Valley Farm, a certified Tennessee Century Farm, is located in the rolling foothills of Northeast Tennessee 5 miles south of historic Jonesborough, Tennessee's oldest town. The 60-acre family farm, which for generations was used to raise a variety of livestock and crops, welcomed its first alpacas in 2006. Our herd began with three pregnant females and a guardian llama. Fourteen Huacaya alpacas now live on the farm and entertain their caregivers as well as passers-by. It is not unusual to see a passing vehicle slow down or stop to check out the latest crias.
Our herd, mainly of Peruvian lineages including top bloodlines such as PPPeruvian Augusto and PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, consists of animals of white, black, fawn, and brown colors. Our goal is to breed for conformational...
