My mother and I became interested in alpacas after having moved to beautiful, colorful Colorado several years ago. We are both tactile people and are very involved in the fiber arts. Alpaca fiber turned out to be the fiber we always dreamed of! We learned of these sensational animals in 2005, and with extensive research, planning, and a substantial bit of homework, we finally started our own alpaca ranch in 2008. We now have a modest herd of 12 alpacas (4 males, 8 females). Handspun and millspun yarns from our own herd are available, along with finished products (such as hats, scarves, fingerless gloves, cowls, legwarmers, etc.). We hope you will love and adore the alpacas and their items we offer as much as we love and adore these incredible animals!
