My husband's, Jack, death has necessitated MANY changes in my life. It goes without saying it has been very difficult, but made much easier my so many wonderful friends in the alpaca community. Since his passing in 2004 I have continued our planned breeding program.

I have finally reached the very DIFFICULT decision to do a herd dispersal of my remaining animals. One of the biggest attractions of alpacas for me and my husband was the aesthetic value they provided out our back door. Now I am not able to enjoy the animals in that respect so therefore it is time to get out of the hands on part of the business & just have my "alpaca fix" through the wonderful friends I have made of the 12 years in the business.

All of animals are ARI registered and come with complete health records. Histograms are done yearly on all of our breeding stock.

The herd at Prairie Sun has been found negative for BVD and extensive safeguards are in place to keep it that way.

In June 2005 I made the move to town and placed the herd in the wonderful caring hands of Prairie Sun Ranch, Donna Helberg & Todd Faulkner, of Erie, CO. Please feel free to contact me to set up a ranch visit.
