Jim and I first met in the early 70's at a place (OK,a bar) called The Crazy Horse. It seemed a fitting name for our NEXT new adventure with alpacas in 1998. We began with two bred females from the final importation from Peru (Rural Allianza co-op) and now have over 35 beautiful Peruvian alpacas. Our crias have shown the indisputable results of careful breeding decisions to some of the best herdsires in the nation. With Lake Michigan in our front yard and alpacas gracing the "back five" (and now the "front four"), we feel we are truly blessed. There is a saying that "alpacas allow us the PRIVILEGE of sharing their lives" and we wholeheartedly agree. Come visit us soon to see for yourself what the wonderful world of alpacas is all about. We are conveniently located just 30 miles east of Green Bay and 50 minutes south of the well known vacation getaway of Door County; directly on Lake Michigan and one mile east of HWY 42. If you can't make the trip yourself, call and request a video of any of our alpacas and we'll shoot a current "movie" of your favorite(s). We remember what it's like to get started; our service begins, not ends after a sale. Very attractive packages and finance options are available.

Crazy Horse Alpacas 2009 show season has started off with much anticipated success. Of special note is the Championship won by CH Peruvian The Prophet, our Jeremiah son who accomplished this at his first show over 25 other high quality fawn males. The Prophet went on to win two more Championships (including Reserve at The Nationals) and his fleece recently took First, Champion, Best Hand and Judge's Choice in Michigan, Diana Timmerman judging. |

| | Breeder Biography At Crazy Horse Alpacas, "quality is our Chief concern". From the moment we decided to take the plunge in 1998, we've kept our pledge to start with the best and breed to the best. Our crias are a testament to this conviction.
Although we're still considered "small", our desire to provide quality, ongong service is HUGE. We love to share our "learning experiences" and welcome the chance to help new breeders get the right start. | | | | | | | |
