 Lost River Alpacas is not along the beaten path unless you are on your way to Canada on Hwy 9. Then we are just 3 blocks west of the highway on Madison St. But the trip is worth it. It's a beautiful drive, and at our historical farm site you will find quality alpacas at reasonable prices. Having been in the business for 12 years now, we are downsizing our herd and are offering some of our animals at incredible prices.
Our alpacas are home grown, and rarely leave home. We don't attend many shows, but have show quality animals. If we attend a show, it is in Washington State. We occaisionally send a female out for breeding, but the majority of them are serviced here. All alpacas are handled using the Camelidynamics methods, and they are easy keepers, friendly, and healthy.
With a purchase of an alpaca from us, you get our full support, 24/7, as long as you own that alpaca. We provide 3 months of free agistment for females so you can make plans or finish up the fencing. If you are close enough, we will assist in birthing.
Our Farm Store is now concentrating only on North American alpaca products, made in North America. We have a large supply of beautiful yarns made from the fiber of our own alpacas, and plan to carry products made from the North American grown alpaca. We also carry pattern books and notions for turning the raw fleeces and yarns into works of art. |
