We started our farm on October 30, 2000, and after over eight years and over 50 crias born we are still enjoying this fascinating business. We have learned a few things along the way and are always ready to make time to share our experiences with our visitors.
Pete sits on the Board of Directors of the charitable Mid-America Alpaca Foundation, and Sonda currently serves as President of the not-for-profit Mid-America Alpaca Show, Inc.
We are conveniently located near Interstate 35 just southwest of Kansas City. Honey Creek Farm is home to beautiful registered huacaya alpacas. An array of colors from white to black can be seen grazing peacefully on our 14 acres of prairie grassland.
Our alpacas come from a diverse selection of herdsires from all four corners of the United States, as well as the midwest. We believe that diversity of bloodlines makes a stronger herd, and have chosen carefully for color uniformity. Grandsires include Hemingway, Caligula, Matador, Bueno, Elever, Royal Fawn, Camelot, Legacy, Snowmaster, Guellermo, Black Magic, to name a few.
We are a full service farm providing financing, boarding, and breeding. Discounts are available on some multiple purchases. Ask about our customer discounts.
Count on us for support before and after the sale. Alpacas are our only business; we can spend time with you at your convenience. We love to talk alpacas, so please call and plan to come visit.
