We are located in Clearmont, Wyoming. Our ranch has enough room for everyone (critters and kids!) and we hope to be able to further our fiber creativity. The fiber mill is processing commercially. I like to see new colors out in the field and I try to pick males that will allow us to have lots of color come through. So far we have been blessed with the whole rainbow of alpaca colors.
Our herd loves to play in the fields and ravines out back. Now they have 3-400 acres to run on and they do a lot of running! We love our animals in a pasture setting because we believe they need lots of exercise. The bonus to this is it helps cut down on toenail problems! They love to be hosed off on the belly in the summer, and most like having their backs scratched.
We are striving for lots of color with fineness in our herd as I like to spin and felt with the fleece. Our farm combines the coverage of the peruvian with the fineness of the chilean heritages. It appears to create nice fleeces for garmet production purposes along with animals that are nice in the showring.
If you are interested in pasture boarding give us a call. We have lots of room to run alpacas where they will get exercise and freedom to roam the prairie.

Our Farm Offers:
* Our maiden females are REPRODUCTIVELY SOUND or we will replace of equal value or refund the purchase price.
* 1 FREE BREEDBACK for any female purchased from our ranch to your choice of one of our herdsires.
* LIVE CRIA GUARANTEE – if you have a first cria born from us who is either stillborn or doesn’t live more than 24 hours, we will rebreed your female to one of our herdsires of your choice for free.
* FEMALE CRIA GUARANTEE – you purchase a female from us and your first cria is a boy, but you don’t want or need him, we will rebreed your female free of charge to your choice of our herdsires and take the male cria back when he is 6 months old.
* FINANCING with 50% of the purchase price down; please speak with us directly about this.
* PASTURE BOARDING at $20.00 per month per animal for the months of April, May, June, July, August and September and $40.00 per animal for the winter months.
* SHEARING SERVICES, usually around the end of May, at our farm for $25.00 per animal.
* FREE TRANSPORTATION of your animal within 100 miles of our ranch as part of the purchase.
* Most importantly: NEW BREEDER SUPPORT and will make every effort to answer your questions and concerns fully so that you understand the business.
We have many fiber/companion geldings available at $200.00 - $500.00 per animal if you are in need of a fair project next year or just want to add a couple of alpacas to your farm for pets and fiber.
We also offer alpaca fleece for sale in many forms: raw, rovings, spun (both mill and hand), and finished garments both handmade and mill production. Please tell us if you are interested in pricing and/or looking at any of these items.
Lastly, if you are even considering investing in alpacas please call us and plan to come and visit the ranch and learn about alpacas. We are very straightforward about the business and want you to be educated about investing your money in this type of livestock! |

SageRidge Mill & Critters LLC is excited about breeding, raising, training, and enjoying alpacas. Our goal is excellent fleece production and finished products. We get excited about all the colors, and we have lots in the field. We love visitors and learning more about alpacas.
