We select and breed for health and genetic soundness and a dense, uniformly fine, bright, long and silky fleece that you'll love next to your skin. We have a reputation for "taking the best care" of our alpacas and "going above and beyond" for our clients.

Our alpacas have been described as "impressive", better than (large farm), as good as (famous farm's) best and "irreplaceable" and we have many repeat customers.
We find solutions outside the scope of contract obligations when necessary for success. Some of our clients have asked us why we do so much for them. We know we wouldn't be here today if we had not received exceptional support other breeders and we are improving on and passing on that great support.
Our comprehensive breeding goals (priority order) are: soundness, productive pedigrees, lactation, phenotype, and quality fleeces that are consistent into extremities, uniformly fine, dense, crimpy, long stapled, lustrous and have a warm, buttery soft, silky-supple handle with minimal guard hair. Alpacas worthy of permanent foundation status are the result!
Top selection criteria also includes reproductive longevity, early maturation, heavy bone and musculature, balanced proportions, correct movement, eye-catching style and temperament.
We carefully train our alpacas to trust people, to stand to be "caught" and to know their names. Laura has trained even very fearful alpacas to stand unrestrained for injections and other medical procedures. Our alpacas follow herding instructions with ease and are trained for transport so that they arrive at their new destination with eager anticipation. According to our veterinarians, we're one of the best in terms of care. |

Our breeding fees are all inclusive: 90 Day Live, Breeding Quality Cria guarantee, 90 days board and full-time care for your dam and cria at side.
All breedings to our herdsires require pedigree approval. We will then help you identify specific traits in your females. Then, if you'd like, we'll suggest a complimentary herdsire most likely to produce an offspring superior to both its sire and dam. We call this result "Alpaca Synergy", the ultimate goal of which is to produce and retain the best alpaca genetics.
All females sell with rebreedings, reproductive guarantees, farm records and when applicable, sales may also include award ribbons, additional guarantees, free agistment, multiple purchase and cash discounts and payment plans.
Researched pedigrees, careful selection, consistency, full disclosure, on-going service, solid guarantees, farm records and fair contracts...all amount to peace of mind for your investment.
