Alpacas In The Forest, LLC has decided once again not to breed our entire herd of female LUVies year 2009, strictly because we are at capacity here at the Hegeman "Alpaca" Inn on both the girls and boys side. Captain Dick and I have decided with the economy, fuel/feed costs, we need to provide the best care for the alpacas we already have and not produce from all of our girls this season. We will be breeding our 3 year old maidens. My herdsires are sooooo ready! :0)

Our prices have been greatly reduced!!! All of our prices are negotiable. Our breeding program has certainly paid off in these past 9 years. We are exactly where we want to be. Quality will always be our priority!

We completed our first BVDV antibody testing earlier in the year of 2006 and our entire herd HAD NOT BEEN EXPOSED. May 2007 testing, also proved no exposure! November 2007, again no exposure! June 2008, no exposure, September 2008, no exposure, our most recent random testing May 2009, you guessed it, still no exposure! All cria PCR's negative once again! Hooray!!!! Up-to-date antibody testing when needed or requested.
