Pretty and Green, our exceptionally competent Komondor livestock guard dogs, are invaluable to us in raising our alpacas.
We researched alpaca ownership for over four years before we purchased our first alpacas. We attended conferences, clinics, shows, visited farms, read, read, joined AOBA. We knew just the animals we wanted and were very lucky to find exactly those animals. We have received wonderful support from the alpaca community and offer the same to all.
Alpacas are such delights - so very enchanting and lovable. And,the fabulous gift of fiber they give us!
Roy and Jean each have over 20 years of varying experience in the fiber processing industry - ranging from designing and erecting and operating processing equipment, purchasing raw fiber, engineer/design finished product, develope and oversee program of quality assurance of raw and finished products. Alpacas and our mill are the perfect fit for our interests and knowledge.
We started our mill the middle of May 2007.
We love to help others find the interesting lifestyle of raising alpacas and working with the exquisite fiber. See our "Service" mill page.

Colors of offspring sired by WWF STETSON are true black, maroon, dark brown, titian, medium brown, dark silver grey and dark rose grey. His offspring are showing very well, having won many awards-firsts, seconds, thirds at AOBA sponsored shows (several championships!). They possess the wonderfully healthy, strong boned, well muscled conformation and the beautifully soft, crimpy, dense, fine, lustrous fiber of their sire. We at WILLOW BRIDGE feel fortunate to have Stetson-and now AFF Basil-, our females Juliet, Joy, Sunshine Jo and Icy, and their offspring. We love to show them off! In 2004: fiber won 3 1st and one 2nd place of 4 entries in the GWAS show skein competition; two fleeces entered in the MidWest Alpaca Jamboree each won 1st, two Spin Off entries won 1st and one won 3rd; of the 4 separate class skein entries we entered in the OABA show, our farm won two 1 sts (including JUDGES' CHOICE) and two 2nds, in the HandCrafters' SpinOff, our 4 entries won first and Champion in the grey, and 3 other placements! Breeder Biography

Willow Bridge Alpacas is our small, selective breeding farm in Mazomanie, WI. There is a small natural trout stream meandering through our bottom land with ancient willows, some of which have fallen over making bridges across the stream - thus the name of our farm! We cherish and protect our animals and their home. J+R
